Alicia's story continues, but danger looms closer as Mecha Sally plunges her blades into a wolf sentry. Will her parents be her next victims?

This scene (page 4-10 onwards) was inspired by Christopher Nolan's direction. One of his trademarks is to make frequent cuts between different scenes to a rousing score to raise tension. It's a style I tried to imitate here to build suspense at the imminent attack. Since music doesn't work in a comic, I substituted it with Alicia's narration to string the scene together. This took me months to write because not only did I need a romantic anecdote (which I'm terrible at writing), but it had to parallel the content of the panels. Still, it's my proudest moment in the story and I hope it gets your blood pumping.
