Description
Sonic, Tail's, Amy and Rosy were in the Combine Wasteland and they were looking for supplies mainly food. And instead of ammo and food they found a Headcrab.Rosy is delighted to see a small animal and Tail's is intrigued by the small parasite but Sonic somewhat has a small phobia of Headcrabs after he saw a Zombie. Amy is just miffed about why Sonic is scared over something so small.

What do you guys mean by "ragdoll" cause in video games rag doll is usually a word used for a free form object that has no control over the movement of it's limbs, thus when you throw it, it will collapse like a "Rag Doll" ...
So to say your posing a rag doll doesn't make much sense seeing as a rag doll will just collapse anyways..
Just saying.
Anyways, I do like the pic, I an just wondering what the background is from, cause surely it isn't from any sonic series.

In Garrys Mod which is the game I use to create the deviations with it's a sandbox videogame that can manipulate physics to any possible extent.
Ragdolls in Garrys Mod are a big part of the game as they are models of people/animals/characters that are in no control of their will and so with Garrys Mod you can pick up the ragdoll and pose it into certain positions and so you can create a small scene called a "ragdoll pose". You can use ragdolls the original way in Garrys Mod and you can throw them around and freeze them into certain positions.
The background is from the Half-Life 2 series. As with my artistic style and I like to add a dark and depressing theme to my deviations and so I try and create a deviation that will create a mood of "depression" or "Insanity" or a "No Hope" feeling.

Wholly crap I remember Garry's Mod, that was the coolest thing evar. But I never had it for my computer, just had it on my teachers computer in high school and messed with it once or twice.
Thanks for all the info. I didn't know you could put sonic characters in there (btw, how did you get those characters anyways?)
And as for the rag doll thing I think you are using the term in the correct way, they are just "frozen rag dolls" basically is what I think you are getting at.

i have these same ragdolls, i find their facing VERY hard to pose. so i think you did a great job here.

When it comes to ragdoll posing, all you can do is take you're time when it comes to a pose and you have to make sure it looks realistic and believable at the same time.

True, but you can defang a Headcrab, just pull them out and the venom can't get you.
