When I opened this as a gift on Christmas I was wonderfully surprised. I loved your enterpretation of me! It is a magnificent piece of art and hangs very happily in my hope!
I am a huge fan and am glad to see that all of your other fans lov it as much as I do!
Thank you so much!
Wendy

I think you need to make big watermarks that cover the whole picture. Like mulitple stamps, because if I wanted to steal this, I would just crop the picture that is between the watermark text (since I would say, the face is pretty much the main part). If I were you I would make the text larger and going vertical multiple times (atleast 3), it would suck because the watermarks get in the way of a good picture but then again, people has to remember that if they buy a print or ask for a commision they wont get watermarks. You work way too hard for this to be taken as mere candy especially since the majority is done traditionally.

"but in my mind to crop the image between the watermarks -your missing the best parts of the picture-" your right but then again the stupid kids who are taking it don't appreciate or even care about the little details all around they just want a peice of what you've made. When you say they trace it? are you being literal? like they actually print it out and trace it? if so, wow thats just pathetic. Unless your speaking of looking at it and drawing their own thing while using 99% of what you have there, theyre still stupid (i find it like cheating themselves). Speaking of this particular drawing, you said that you dont usually post commisions you make for other people, that is a good move in a way because someone BOUGHT that, its special to them because its made FOR them. But posting it on a place that has many dishonest people, it can be stolen and if I were the person who has purchased it, i would feel like an idiot, because someone else has it in a way. Now, of course, he/she has the original (do you give them the originals or do you atleast keep a copy for yourself?) so it still has more value (to the customer, or even in general). Its hard because of course, you are an artist who wants to get out there, you have to put your work out there, but it SUCKS because dumb kids try to in a way, sabotage it. Maybe, you'll have to just ignore it, its YOURS no matter what anyways, because if you think about other careers, your going to deal with "haters" or people who are going to try to take you down, maybe its like that, its a struggle to get to the top. Im not sure but i think i wrote alot, im so sorry haha.

hey hunn!
i would LOOOVE to post more of my commissions because the majority im soo happy with!
i am pretty lucky because most of the jobs i have to do are very -my kinda stuff- as in the jobs i really love to do!
so i do indeed belive its still my own work
i dont submit them because people pay alot of money and most of them are tattoo designs...
i once posted a tatt design someone paid me to do for them online here...
and the client didnt mind that i post it online
since then ***SEVEN*** other people have got the exact same tattoo designed inked on them
thats cool by me! but it would suck if you paid $200 for a custom tatt design/commission and seven others flunked it for free.
i dont post the images usually by the clients request... and that way you can charge a bit more for custom work if at the end of the day NO ONE ELSE will see it unless the client shows friends or what not.
its pretty secret under the rock stuff!!! lol

Why does your art work remind me of a Type O negative album or concert promotion? Nice job!

honestly, massive right in the middle of the picture, watermarks do not detract from the picture. if i were you, i'd paste big nasty ones all over my work, so no more stealies.

yuh yuh i think ill pick up on my watermarks a bit more from now on...
the issues is alot of the kids that steal my work simply trace it and re draw it
--it looks like shit-- but watermarks aint the cure to stealies...
not one bit
...the kids that trace can still try selling the work -idioties!-

thankyou for that comment...
ill take it into great consideration!
it is a good way to steatch and beat out new challenges in myself too..
its boring without a bit of a challenge in every piece.
i think ill throw myself some -out of the box- ideas to try give my brain a bit of a work out!!
