Description This design has been in some stage of progress for two years now! The frames sat on my bookcase for at least 18 months before I got tired of constantly moving them to get to other things. With faire season quickly approaching, I decided it was time that the peacock fairy should make an appearance!!

I'm hoping to do these in some earth tones for a more moth-like look, but it may be another year before I get a chance to do that!

I thought so but I wasn't certain. They all look so amazing! How do you get the hose to cling to the smaller curves without having a gap between the hose and wire over the intended outline for you more complicated designs? It looks very professional and sparkly!

Thanks! The smaller curves are where I hand sew the fabric to the frames.

I love all of your wing designs. I have made a few sets of wings for costumes for myself and some friends. I put many hours into them and they are still quite simple in design. I admire your talent and patience

Thank you. I'm hoping to get some time this summer to work on some more wing designs. I also have another pair of wings that I need to get some pictures of. I haven't got much to work with- I've been using wire coat hangers and sheer fabric, which is murder on your hands. But my fiance found some lighter gauge wire that is much easier to work with, so there will hopefully be more added soon

Thanks! I have a feeling that those swirly wires will be reaching out and grabbing stuff...you know, like scarves, purse straps, and small children, so I'll need to be careful. Thankfully, my husband is my full time keeper!

Yeah, this will be my fifth year. I used to sell and craft wax hands, but now I work for Son of Sandlar. Boots!

And occasionally I travel with a musical act.

I love the festival. Never want to stop!
