The idea for this came from when I was at Disneyland a few weeks ago and I saw a lot of little girls wearing the princess' outfits! But obviously, they chose their favourite princess' outfit, not whom they looked like, so it got me thinking what the actual princesses would look like if they swapped outfits!
Summary below ////
Snow White/Tiana - I know she was the first princess, but Snow White is so vanilla, so I wanted to spice things up with Tiana.
Cinderella/Anna - I liked the idea of Anna wearing something blue, 'cause of being cold and ice...yeah.
Ariel/Mulan -If this dress isn't recognisable, that's because I used the new design of Ariel, which I don't really agree with, but I have to admit, this dress is a thousand times better than that pink thing she wears in the movie.
Belle/Rapunzel -I wanted to see what Rapunzel looked like in a big gown rather than a more simplistic dress. Her hair is short/brown as that's how the movie ends and blonde and yellow don't go great together.
Aurora/Snow White - The reason Jasmine's outfit and Aurora are missing is because I tried Snow White in that outfit, and it really wasn't working, so I swapped it to Aurora's. Aurora isn't here because I've never seen Sleeping Beauty and I really didn't want to have to fit her in (sorry!) Edit: I've now seen Sleeping Beauty and I did like it! Guess it's too late to shove her in though ha ha.
Mulan/Jasmine - Since Jasmine is one of the more cultural princesses, I thought it'd be fun to mix it up with Mulan's kimono!
Tiana/Belle - There's no other explanation for this other than that this is my favourite dress, and Belle is my favourite princess.
Rapunzel/Elsa - Have to admit, this happened because I was running out of options so there's no real reason for this. Although, after drawing Rapunzel's dress, I noticed the crazy amount of detail it has.
Anna/Cinderella - I wasn't sure which outfit of Anna's I wanted to use, but it ended up being this one because Cinderella looks awesome in boots!
Ariel/Elsa - I figured the style of this is like a mermaid dress, so who better to wear it than Ariel?
The reason Merida is not present is because she is not a Disney Princess in my eyes, she's Pixar!
