I find it obscene that here in australia, marriage between two 16years olds is blessed....while two people of the same sex who have been commited to each other and have proven their love in every sense aren't allowed the basic right of marriage...prioities are wrong, attention is given to the wrong things and people are hurt. We as an advanced country have reverted to third world standards.

It is sad that I know all of what you said is true and I couldn't agree with you more. That is why now is the time, moreso then ever, to make a stand for what is right. It is impossible to change someones veiws overnight but you can make them aware that everyone deserves a fair chance at having a happy- filling llife. I Find it very sad that many who oppose gay marriages are the same people who are misled by the media as well as politicians into believing that the common gay life-style consists of multiple partners in any given time period as well as associations to drugs and unstable home lives... To protect those we love as well as ourselves, we must constantly rise above the hate fighting back with truth and understanding. Thank you so much for commenting, it is greatly appreciated
