Heard the news about Pikmin 3...and I wanted to draw some fan-art. Pikmin was always a joy to play. And I can't wait to play this game!Well, okay now I think this is all the different breeds that belong in the pikmin family. I'm not too sure if that pink one is really a pikmin or not (looks like it so I assumed. If not...oh well

This is awesome! I'm especially glad you included the Mushroom Pikmin and the Bulbmin, most people exclude them. The Pink one is an actual Pikmin too, it just happens to look like a pink bumblebee Β (it has stripes if you look at it up close)

Maybe if you put a signature? Besides, having your art "stolen" and posted somewhere else can also be seen as a good thing. As in, you're popular enough to have your art reposted by other people somewhere else. All else fails, you can simply report them to the respective site's moderators and have it taken down.

or I can just leave the watermark there and avoid any trouble for me.
If people find watermarks an eyesore, then they can simply leave without complaining to the artists.Β
fyi art thieves can easily erase signatures. I might make my own watermark that doesn't overwhelm my pics so much, but until then, I'm just gonna keep using dA's old fashion one. And no, having art posted on another website without the artist's permission and without their credit is not a good thing.

Because instead of saying "nice art" or whatever, you brought up how the watermark sucks. I don't think it sucks, and many artists don't either. So next time, don't bring up the watermark.

Also did u see the latest Nintendo Direct? It showed off some beautiful HD screenshots of in-game environments of Pikmin 3! Strangely, the flowers in the logo's "3" are now orange instead of lavender tho O.O

I seen some you tube commentary that revealed pink pikmin are indeed in the game. Maybe Nintendo changed their minds on some of their direction on the game...do you have a link source that provides that info? What you said sounds really interesting and I would like to read it.

I never thought about the Pikmin riding the Bulbmin, it looks really cute! I really like how you draw the Pikmin!
I just wish you would have put a different kind of watermark, like in between the Rock Pikmin and Pink Pikmin, then put two in the top-left and bottom-right corner. It kind of turned a 9.5/10 picture into a 8/10 picture.

Yeah, sorry about the watermark issue. I can see how it clashes against the picture. The reason I have to put it over my artwork because there has been people who steal my art work and claim it as their own, use it without my permission, or upload it on tumblr (or other sites) without giving credit to me. It's not fair that I want to share my work, but then some people show no respect and think they can do whatever they want simply because it's the internet. And sometimes, even when I put a "small watermark" that doesn't touch the art or hardly any of it, they just erase it either on ms paint or another digital program. I hope you understand.

I only saw the commercial that came with Luigi's Mansion 2 and played a bit with him on Brawl, but this game looks epic

Luigi's Mansion is the shiz! That was one of my first gamecube games (alongside with pikmin). Every time Nintendo makes a new game console, they always make new games (or sequels).
