I probably should have put this up earlier...This is a slightly-older picture of Kiirsatr, which I hesitated to put up because it LOOKS weird. When I did the initial sketches, I paid close attention to anatomy(or as close as I can, anyway), and his now-awkward looking pose looked anatomically correct. It's a sort of weird turning-to-look-back-but-still-moving-to-walk-forward-while-pulling-hood-back pose. I think part of the problem might be the armour and how the seams are twisting with his torso, but I'm too lazy to fix it. I might come back to it some day, but otherwise, It's staying how it is.
Had fun painting the background, though. And I had to do the shading twice to get it to look right.
Is anyone has pointers on how I could fix this, speak up! It really is bugging me because the sketch looked fine, yet this looks...weird. I dunno.

The design of the armour is really neat but the best part about this piece if you ask me is the expression. I don't agree that it looks weird but seems rather organic which is hard to do with reptiles. Great work!

And no, the armour isn't from a mod. It actually doesn't exist in-game! I just designed it for the character.

It's a shame that bethesda doesn't add individual cloaks or capes to their games though.

This is awesome! One possible pointer, though, would be that the legs look just a little too small altogether, with the left one disproportionally larger. Also, maybe add some of that shading texture on the bottom right to the area between the cape and the legs.

Thanks for the pointer! I think part of the problem with the legs, too, is that the bottom of his leather-tunic-thing and the cloth parts cover up most of the lines of his legs(and ass, LOL) so they seem weirdly proportioned. Still, I'll play around with it, see if I can't do a little fixing-up on those darn legs of his.

Haha, maybe. I feel terrible asking this, but is that his ass or his front? I was thinking it was his front and the space underneath the tail was background, with his tail coming around the side maybe? The colours around it make me thing otherwise, though.

LOL that's his ass, don't feel bad about asking! It is a weird pose, kind of turning around to face the back(or us, in this case) while MAKING to walk forward but not quite there yet, so his legs would be heading to the side still and his hips would be tilted to the side as well, hence the tail sticking out in the weird place it is. LOL If I could find a good example picture of the pose, I'd show you, but I honestly searched and I can't find it. I believe I got the pose from a screencap, actually...

Oh, haha wow, I see it now! Okay, I think it might be a little too turned then, like you mentioned. So, for example, if the leg closest to the bow was more inward, it might look a tad bit more realistic.

If it is sarcasm, please don't misunderstand. I'm not trying to say your work is poor, I really like it in fact! You did ask for suggestions though, so I was just trying to help, and I couldn't think of any other suggestions since I don't know much about art, just anatomy. (although argonian anatomy isn't exactly my strong point either, haha)
