Description
2H, F, HB, and 6B graphite pencil on Canson drawing paper.5" x 5".
Based on a photo of my daughter at age 4. I was drawn to this image by many interesting features: the angle of the face, the strong diagonal lines, the dramatic light. It also fit into a square format, and I considered making this (on a larger scale) my entry for a local 12" x 12" art show. But instead, I plan to enter it as a miniature in a show this November.
