Oh memory!
The first time I ever truly felt like crying during the Thief series was when I found out what the Mechanists had done with Lotus. I know fangirls are going to yell at me, but I didn't even feel sad when Garrett lost his eye. My reaction was more of a
But Lotus...oh god, that was such a tragic scene...Garrett's reaction to it helped sell it completely.
That's what good writing can do; I went in knowing little more than Lotus's name, and yet the superb writers were able to make my eyes well up with tears at his fate.
I would have so wanted to know more about this guy

I absolutely agree, after i played this chapter i always wished i could be there myself, getting Lotus out of there earlier and warm him up or something. I really wanted to safe him
