Later I lay on the couch watching Harry Potter; Harry was on the phone with his Mom in the kitchen. I listened to them,
"Yes Mum, schools alright," Harry said, "Yes, they are very nice. Yeah, the girls here are pretty," He said, I burst out laughing at that. Harry poked his head in; I shut up immediately, "No that was just Stephanie, Mum. She's the daughter of my hosts," Harry said, "You want to talk to her? Um, ok," He said, shoving the phone out to me. I shook my head he shoved it onto my ear and nodded. I narrowed my eyes at him and grabbed the phone while he sat next to me,
"Hello?" I asked,
"Hello dear, my name is Anne," A light British accent answered,
"Hi Anne," I said, glancing sideways at Harry,
"Is my son being good over there?" She asked,
"Hmm, I guess. He's behaving himself pretty well for a teenage boy," I said, Anne chuckled,
"He tells me you're very nice," She said,
"Oh really? Very nice? I see," Harry raised a brow and started reaching for the phone,
"Yeah, and he says you're pretty. But don't tell him I told you," She told me as I grabbed Harry's wrist to prevent him from taking the phone,
"Don't worry I won't," I giggled,
"Won't what?" Harry as he reached towards the phone. I leaned backwards to keep the phone away.
"Nothing, Harry," I said, Anne was laughing on the other end of the line,
"Treat my boy well ok?" Anne asked,
"Will do," I told her, Harry was practically on top of me as he tried to grab the phone. I pushed my feet against his chest,
"Bye dear, tell Harry I love him!" She said,
"Bye, he says he loves you too," I told her, and then I hung up. I tossed Harry back his phone and clicked off the TV.
"What did she tell you?" He asked,
"Nothing," I told him as I headed upstairs,
"She told you something. I know she did," Harry said, following me,
"She didn't Harry. Ok?" I said as I stepped up on the first step. He grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him,
"What did she tell you?" He asked, his green eyes vibrant,
"Why does it matter?" I asked,
"It just does ok?"
"Fine, she told me that you thought I was pretty ok? Now let me go, God," I told him. His arm went slack and he let me go,
"She told you that?" He asked,
"Yeah, what's the big deal?"
"Out of all of the embarrassing things she could've said, she said that?" He said, sounding like he was asking himself the question,
"Harry it doesn't matter," I said quietly,
"But it does. Niall would kill me if he found out," Harry muttered,
"No he wouldn't, honestly Niall's more easy-going than that," I said,
"But would he be. I mean, every man will get defensive for his girl when they're competing for her," Harry told me,
"But you guys aren't competing for me," I said to him, he looked at me,
"Or are we?" He asked. My eyes widened,
"Harry, No. Niall's my boyfriend; please don't try to break us up. Please don't try to win me. I'm not a prize," I said,
"I'll let you two crash and burn by yourselves, then I'll make my move," Harry winked at me.
"Harry Styles. You will NOT do anything of the sort. And Niall and I will not crash and burn, ok?"
"Whatever you say sweetheart," Harry rolled his eyes and brushed by me, giving me an unnecessary kiss on the cheek,
"Harry! I hate you!" I shouted,
"No you don't," He yelled back down the stairs. I climbed up to my room and shut the door. I curled myself up in the beanbag chair in the corner and began to cry. I didn't want this to happen. I really didn't.
