  Almond is kind, helpful Chikorita who is protective of her friends and quick to act if they are in any kind of trouble. Her helpful nature extends to complete strangers and acquaintances, even some enemies, but the result of her assistance can be either chaotic or a blessing (usually depending on the difficulty of the task and how much energy she has at the time). For instance, if she is asked to clean a house, she may either do a perfect job or powerwash all the furniture with a hose. Idk flip a coin.
  Interestingly enough, in more dangerous situations, Almond has shown to handle things in an appropriate, thoughtful manner--but only if the safety of others are involved. She is otherwise extremely nonchalant about her own well-being and puts on an impervious front in response to physical pain. This may also cause her to be stupidly brave.

  Despite her polite mannerisms and average intelligence, Almond is often infantilized by the others on the island due to her childish demeanor and appearance. She's messy, outgoing, trusting, and doesn't express interest in adult topics. She rarely gets irritated/angry with others and demonstrates incredible patience with everyone, even if they're not the greatest person, and she always wants to share her happiness with the people around her.
  On the other hand, her eternal cheery mood can make her tough to read, and she never seems upset unless she vocalizes it (which is rare). It also is common for her words and actions to completely contradict each other or come off as plain odd, which begs the question if she is actually as naive as she appears. Regardless, she is still human--or rather, part-human--and is more than capable of sharing her genuine moments of emotion, including ones where she is unnecessarily harsh or cruel, however rare they may be.

It is also worthy of note that Almond occasionally teases others about their insecurities. While it is usually meant to be playful, it may be used to manipulate people for her own agenda, provoke, or push someone away. However, she experiences immense guilt if she accidentally takes it too far, and will express a desire to apologize.

Background:

  Almond was born into a kingdom of sunshine and daisies, metaphorically speaking. She grew up in a wealthy family and was quite cold as a child, but very bright (almost the opposite of what she is currently). After her kingdom got affected by an all-out war it participated in, she reluctantly began her life as a lone traveler, still unaware of the political tensions surrounding the tragedy. As she traveled further and further from home, she found a new family at an isolated orphanage and took comfort being among kids who have also lost their families. Unfortunately, a certain incident prevents her from recalling those happy memories. That same incident affected her mind and body in a negative manner.

  Upon arriving at the island, Almond was paranoid and sometimes hostile because of how little she remembered of herself. She suffered from flashbacks, headaches, which furthered her isolation--(she even got her heart broken for the first time, which was a new experience but ouch did it hurt). ANYWAY although she was well aware that her past was denying her of a more promising future, she did little to fix this, most likely due to her own stubbornness.

  Eventually Almond learned to get stronger from those bad experiences--not necessarily get past them--and blossomed. She became a gullible, social butterfly at heart and now wishes nothing more than everyone's happiness. Loneliness bothers her a little less and she had thrown her last care into the sea (along with her shame and negativity) long ago. She seems to have forgotten her past self and gets noticeably uncomfortable when she is asked too many questions.

(Something in her past makes her peculiarly merciless to liars...)

Trivia:

-Has a soft spot on her forehead. Being hit on that spot may result in a coma, concussion, and possibly her death. Be delicate.
-Is out of the loop of most social cues such as: high-fives, handshakes, and verbal expressions/slang
-Is somewhat unfamiliar with modern technology and sometimes struggles to understand them
-Can be mischievous at times
-Owns an fat English Lop named 'Nutmeg' and it will not hesitate to NIBBLE on your pants
