Fantastic artwork! The female warriorsΒ΄expressions could be a little, uh, softer though?

Yeah, well - she does need some strength to wield that axe, don't ya think? But thanks a bunch for liking it

Heh, I really like this one! Nothing wrong with an axe, I somehow couldn't see her with a small bow and arrow or a dagger! Nice design on the clothing too! Though I have to say that tin-bra is defying logic by staying on without a strap to join the cups. Not that you're the first artist to put your characters into unfeasible but good-looking clothing I also love the anatomy. I've a feeling you could start a fashion for sexy heavily-muscled women!

Your grasp of anatomy is so sharp. The skintones work to really define the muscles on this woman. I really like the design of the headgear as well.

I LOVE the headgear on this one. I really really do. I also think the pose came out really well, and your skintones as always are just perfect.

Good to see some more art from you

Thanks Seedy - your comments are always so encouraging and inspiring Some people pointed out that the colour of the head-thingy didn't complement with the rest of the image, and I agree with them, but I'm glad you liked it anyway And I'm rather satisfied with how the rest of the image turned out - I think I'm finding my inspirational roots again, and it's a really relieving feeling So thanks a lot for the fav and all!

Thanks! I have previously tried to tone down my characters, but have found that I enjoy painting a lot more when I give them muscels and grand weapons, so I think I'll just stick to that in the future

Yeah besides IMHO this is how warriors should be pictured as... not skinny and waifish. They need power to wave those weapons around . Awesome job!

i loved her helmet
why don't you try drawing persons with swords or spears?
it would be a different wepon

Thanks! I do draw other weapons sometimes, but it's either an axe or a sword that seems to be my "default" weapon of choice. A spear just may be a good idea

oh and a sceptre would be a great weapon too ^^
