Description Okay, so here's the colored version of a sketch I made on my Galaxy Note 10.1. It was completed on a regular PC with Photoshop. I have over the past weeks tried to get used to drawing *and* painting with Sketchbook Pro on the Galaxy, as this app vastly closes the gap between a tablet PC and a Cintiq in terms of workflow. There's really no reason why one shouldn't be able to paint stuff like this on a tablet PC, once you have the right software installed. Not to say that it surpasses the Cintiq, but as a portable digital canvas it really gives Wacom's flag ship some serious competition for amateurs and semi-professionals. I know Wacom has something similar up its sleeve to be ready for sales during this year, so the digital art revolution hasn't even truly started yet

Outstanding work!!! I also have started working on my galaxy note 10.1. Although I'm nowhere near as talented as you are... If you get the chance, check out my drawing "the marsh" and "Conan with morning star" both were done with the note.

I'm new to digital art so please be gentle! lol

Thanks for the great feedback, mate! I absolutely love your stuff, your skills on the Galaxy excels mine by a mile (but watch out, I'm sneaking up on you ) I couldn't find "the marsh", but your other stuff is really cool - just practice, practice and practice and you'll be the new Frazetta

What software do you use for the Samsung? If you haven't tried Sketchbook Pro, you should - it's def worth the small price. And while I'm really impressed by the Galaxy's abilities, you should get a Wacom tablet (preferable a Cintiq if you have the money, but at least the Intuitos), as it's a lot more intuitive to work with than the Galaxy, with customizable keys that truly eases the work flow. Good luck and paint on!

Regarding my skills, thanks - you're being kind ...

I do use sketchbook pro ... where the F&$@ is the smudge or blend tool though! So far it seems to be the best art program for the Galaxy note. There's one app called "infinite painter" that's not too bad though ... worth a try if you've never used it.

Ps "The marsh" is a drawing of a viking in the water, cutting into a serpent ...
