With this elegant work you made me think of a Radiohead phrase
We plants are happy plants.
Surprisingly, I just can't get enough of your iconic reality. You give each of your works a slightly (almost secret) detail that makes them totally identified with you.
This triptych of photographs does rock my imagination in such a nebulous day like today. The first one is warm, appealing, it translates all your oblivious chemistry with a female entity (that lady you mention in the description). The second one (after a hard dispute with my buttons, it was chosen to be my favourite) is the consumption of the flesh, all the desirable issues directly related with Love. Applying such a cold tone to the image, you managed to conquer a sort of fake tranquillity, while your body is still a mischievous weapon of your sin.
The third one (I have a similar pair of shoes!) is the perfect conclusion for this little story made of perceptions and misunderstandings. I also adore those isobaric lines with numbers next to the left foot.

hey there, another fantastic peice - possibly among your most cohesive. The use of colour and subtle imagery really draws your audience inwards - in fact all your peices do that - which is something i really enjoy about your work. It is very personal, and at the same time utterly generic, in the sense that everyone can relate to it without sacrificing individuality - that is quite an achievement.
Out of interest, have you considered doing some larger scale work? I think your style lends itself to a far larger canvas than you typically work on.
Finally, I'd just like to say that i really enjoy what you do - although normally i'm either too inarticulate/lazy to leave a comment(!) but you've produced so many excellent pieces recently, i thought i really should take the time to say something!
Well done, once more, and don't ever stop!
Martin

yeah i really like the interaction between the drawn and the photographic here - looks great - the slight overlapping of the elements helps a lot too!
id have been tempted to stray into the 'frame' area with some of your plant sketches - just to break down the lines there and to add a bit more depth to it, but hey, this is you not me anyways!! lol
well played mate

i love that orange. that kind of orange isn't seen often so it's kind of refreshing... the plants work well, and it's all very well composed.
great, as always.
