Jurre saying goodbye to Merem before leaving the mountains.

I was inspired, while writing, to sketch this out a week ago. I decided to paint it last night... Not sure if I like it or not. I think the sketch looked better. But, I wanted to practice and I tried a few different things because I wanted this to be a quick paint. I am trying to be able to paint faster. It's not like I am overly detailed! I should be able to do this! ;D The sketching takes me hardly anytime at all... it's just that painting. But, I was happy that this came together fast. It only took me a few hours this time! Lol! And I did a background! Not sure I've ever done one before!
