It took forever, but Lara finally shook off a lot of the rubbery flatness of her run-in with Nebula. She wriggled her fingers and waggled her arms. Even though she was quite fit, and her muscle-tone had returned, she still felt hollow and her skin still hung off her. But she was going to fix that, soon.

She struck a match, lighting a torch and running her fingers over the carved stone surface of the ancient structure. This was the place. La Guapina Larga; the ancient temple of the lost Aztecs which was said to hold an ancient power that might fill the emptiness left from Nebula's magicks.

It had to work.

Over cracks in the earth, through trap-ridden hallways and ending in a room bathed in dappled shafts of eager sunlight, Lara spotted what she was searching for: The Idol of Guapina Larga. Golden and gleaming, it awaited her outstretched hand, draped in loose skin. She snatched up the idol and began running for the exit. There was an echo.

Chaos Reigns!

A rumble of an approaching boulder hastened her steps, but she felt logy and sluggish. Footfall after pounding footfall seems like she was carrying pound after pound. She ran as the large turquoise stone trundled forward, slamming into the dusty walls behind her. Finally, the stone became wedged in a doorway and Lara could swear she heard grunting. It was the stone! Only it wasn't a giant boulder... she could clearly make out the curves of a morbidly obese woman. White-green hair hung in the goddess's face as Lara grimaced at the undulating rolls of flab on the creature. Sensing her judgement, the creature spoke to Lara.

Who are you calling fat, tubby?

Lara then felt her clothes tightening. This whole time, she hadn't noticed the emptiness had left and been replaced by gurgling, roiling fat bubbling under her loose skin and filling her like a rubbery bladder. She became rotund, unable to shake free of the idol. Literally, it would not leave her hand. In her struggles, she soon slipped over a graded walkway and began a painful roll down another tunnel, the irony of the fall lost on her. Slamming to a stop, stuck in the open doorway, a green-skinned frenchman approached, surrounded by overweight natives with blowguns. As her rival took the idol, Lara burbled our between the folds of flab, "Too bad they don't know you the way I do, Chaos."
Chaos smiled back, "Yes, too bad. You could warn them... if only you spoke Gorditos!"
