Hrmmmm...well, here is another quickie...I am REALLY short of time lately...sigh...but the freelance website is almost done so then I will get a little time before I start on the next one...well, assuming no illustration work comes in the meantime...but anyhoo....
I did this one really quickly and very literally half assed my way through it. The original sketch was just the unfinished figures in the foreground; after scanning it in I did everything with the ole mouse in illustrator cs3. the figures themselves took about 2 hours, while the background took a total of about the same...the background was not in the original sketch and I basically just threw out whatever came to mind just so I could fill the space with something...used some clipart on the background too because I was feeling particularly lazy(which is saying something because my punk ass is LA-Z to begin with)...anyhoo, not gonna win any prizes with this one, but it was fun to do. I haven't really been able to just half ass anything in quite a while so it was a refreshing change of pace. no porn influences this time though oh well...there's always the next one On a side note, yes, the dude is supposed to look like that...I was going for a kind of 90210 look with him...kind of like luke perry only not gay-lol! then I thought...well, his hair is sooo poofy and nice I can't very well just leave the girl's hair plain can I? Hells no! So I did something weird with it instead...just pretend there is a fan blowing off the left side of the page well, I already told ya I phoned this one in
what? you expect actual creativity?!? sigh....oh alright...I'll do better next time....btw am I ranting yet? I feel like I'm on the world's longest tangent....where was I....I forgot...ah well screw it...
