[When Pinkie Pie moved out of earshot...]
Spike: "So, Twilight, are you really just gonna give up on trying to find out how Pinkie sense works?"
Twilight Sparkle: "Of course not! I was pulling her leg out of courtesy." [Throws the umbrella hat away into a trashcan] "I wouldn't earn my Masters degree in arcane sciences if I would give up that easily."
Spike: "Well, you almost sound like it."
Twilight Sparkle: "I do admit Pinkie had pushed me to my limits when it comes to me trying to quantify and explain how her ability works, and I did lose my cool over it. It's unquestionably anomalous, almost like a miracle, except for one thing - everything that I seen so far, however fantastic, hasn't in the slightest ruled out the possibility of a natural explanation. It only seems that way, but I had only been observing her for a day at best. If I write it off as a miracle immediately, it automatically rules out the possibility of explaining it in other terms, which is still possible! At best, Pinkie sense is just like every other mystery that had been solved about the natural world; an anomaly."
Spike: "But you saw her; it doesn't make any sort of sense! No pony could make sense of it at all!"
Twilight Sparkle: "Thousands of years ago, ponies thought that lightning from thunderstorms were supernatural in nature, either pegasi magic or divine retribution from some higher power. No pony could make sense of it at all, not even the pegasi who throw them around. But then Starswirl the Bearded saw problems with that picture, thought otherwise, and to prove it, he flew a kite up into a thunderstorm. Do you know what he did that day? He grounded a bolt of lightning into the ground. He not only showed that lightning was just that, electricity, he also showed that it could be directed in ways other than through pegasus magic. Do you think we would ever invented lightning rods, electric power, heating and lighting if he just accepted it as supernatural?"
Spike: "I suppose not. So does that mean you're going to keep trying to find out how Pinkie sense works?"
Twilight Sparkle: "Well, I won't immediately go back and try again - I'm tired after yesterday, and I frankly got better things to do, but this anomaly warrants further investigation. That's what science is always about. When we find an anomaly, we observe them, we formulate theories, we establish a protocol of experimentation in a controlled environment to test out theories, throw out the ones proven wrong and then keep trying until one of them is proven right.
Spike: "Twilight, you're going on a long monologue again..."
Twilight Sparkle: "Sorry about that. I loved being a scientist and a sorceress too much; empiricism is the only reliable way to figure out how this world works, and as long as that hold trues, I WILL figure out how Pinkie Sense works eventually. Just you wait..."
[Indeed, many years later Twilight's persistence finally paid off, and she found out how Pinkie senses function, with a proven explanation that made sense.]

Thats why I believe that ponies can be carnivores. Also the jelly... and the leather they use for clothing.

Of course ponies are carnivores! I know for a fact that at least five farmers gets eaten by accident every year by horses. (I'm pretty sure a pony is some kind of horse, but more colorful)

That is what my mother used to say, until a horse ate her.

I feel sorry for your mother... Too bad she didn't die according to the goblin tradition of blowing up. But at least she sent a warning to the goblin folk... don't trust horses... trust rockets with unstable fuel.

I hate to point this out, but don't the outlines look kind of thin?

Where are Twilight's eyelashes?

There wasn't any eyelashes on the template screencap I was using so I didn't even think of adding them. Now that you mention it I think I'm gonna add eyelashes and see how it looks.
There are often mistakes and misses in the actual episodes and this might be one of them.
Twilight was missing her ear in a template I was using for another of my vectors, for instance!
Thanks for noticing and please comment if you spot other mistakes or flaws, I want my vectors (the newer pony ones) to looks as show-accurate and good as they can. And I'm always aiming to improve my vectoring skills.
