Description Samhain, besides being a Celtic harvest festival, is the Gaelic word for November. November in Montana means frost on the windows and snow. So in honor of this chilly month, I've made a pendent and earring set inspired by both frost and snow - filigree wirework "frost" and moonstone "snow."

There is no soldering in these earrings - it's entirely wirework.

It is for sale in my Etsy shop. See the matching pendent here .

Made from silver-plated copper core wire, silver-plated beads, and really pretty iridescent moonstones.

That is a beautiful set. That's how I would prefer to have my snow and frost.

Ah, that's really nice. I really like the wrapping on the main wire, how did you get it to sit so nicely?

The trick is twofold. First, use a nice soft wire in 26 or 28 gauge. Second, wrap the wire out away from where you want it to sit and the push it down against the coil to avoid kinks rather than pushing or pulling it through in place.

That, and lots of practice.

Wow! I love the way that the middle "pearl" look so important!
