Busted ass to get this done for myself in a day so I wouldn't feel guilty about doing art for me. Worked on commissions some today too.World of Warcraft owns my life.

Man am I glad I don't play anymore haha! But this picture turned out great - the colors are very lovely, it has a nice pastel feel to it I think. I like the night sky in the background and the fur on the wolf. It's all very nice, good work! (I know I'm late on commenting on this one!

Damn! If only night elves really were this pretty! You have her looking very shapely and.. well.. womanly! If they all looked this good, I might consider making an Alliance character. As it is, I tend to play orc girls. Some of them actually have pretty faces but don't tell too many people, or else we will get all the 14 year old boys coming over to the Horde and making female characters just to stand around and dance naked... *shudders at memories of Goldshire*

Gorgeous! Nothing wrong with doing a fan art of an RPG character. And sometimes your own personal "this is for me" art turns out to be some of one's best stuff. You should never feel guilty about occassionally doing art just for yourself

You should never feel guilty about doing art for yourself! Though other people get to enjoy your talent through commissions, you should be able to enjoy the fruit of your own labor sometimes. A beautiful job. I'm so envious of your marker skills!

I see no reason to be so defensive/apologetic about your subject matter: there is nothing wrong with an artistic indulgence of something one's a fan of.
And there's nothing wrong with setting aside art one *has* to do in place of art one *wants* to do...
