Amazing. *drools all over it* Everything about this is so gorgeous. I love the composition and the near symmetry of the background, the detailed designs are lovely.

I love this deceptively detailed style of yours...the colors aren't what I usually go for, but this picture is gorgeous and stirring up fragments of memories...or forgotten dreams...it is absolutely stunning. Will you teach me how to use marker *beg*?

^_^ my marker technique is quite simple, and here it is:
Take your base color, the lightest color that you want the area to be and lay down a single layer of the color (don't go over areas at all just single strokes of color). Wait a few seconds and create a second layer where you want your shadows to be. Make sure to make this layer a bit larger than the size you want your shadows to be, though. Immediately after, take your next color, your shadow color, and color over-top of this second layer of base color. Then take your base color marker and color overtop of the shadow color and second layer or base color area. This will blend the two colors together and get rid of the harsh line that is created, like in cell-style shading ^_^ Keep blending your markers this way to create the smoothness and fading colors. I also use watercolors overtop of single ylayers of marker for the BGs and in this case, the wall. Hope this made sense! ::luffs you:: ^_^

God you have little details! The coloring must have token a while, but then again, the efforts were certainly not wasted.*wonders*

Wow! The autumn colors with the black wings is spectacular! For some reason I was expecting cool colors, so this was sort of a surprise. But a good one for sure!! Excellent work! Your abilities are enviable!
