Description DEVIANTART WATERMARK WILL NOT PRINT ON FINISHED PRODUCT

From Wikipedia:Inspiration: (John) Lennon wrote the song taking inspiration from a nineteenth century circus poster for Pablo Fanque's circus which he purchased in an antique shop on 31 January 1967 while filming the promotional video for the song "Strawberry Fields Forever" in Kent. Lennon said that "Everything from the song is from that poster, except the horse wasn't called Henry." (The poster idenitifies the horse as "Zanthus".) Mr. Kite is believed to be William Kite, who worked for Pablo Fanque from 1843 to 1845.

Newly updated to include the Fine Art prints and a higher quality parchment look. I've had to take some liberties with text placement/size in order to get it to fit the correct aspect ratio, but I feel it was worth it in order to offer a better print. This piece looks best on canvas.

A near-exact replica of the poster that inspired the Beatles song Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite. I always wanted one, now I have one.

That's awesome! Easily one of my favorite of theirs. And a print too! Would that I had the money...

Great stuff though!n :fav:

Did you design that? Or is it an edited photo of a real poster?

It's all recreated in Illustrator and Photoshop, referencing the original.

Ah.

Very nice job of recreation, in that case.

Thanks. I won't pretend it was difficult... But I'm happy to have a high quality version of the poster of my very own.

Did you print it out full-size?

Yeah, I have one that's about 1' x 3' framed on my wall. It looks fantastic.
