i think that the horizontaL eyes draw the eye through the shot perfectLy, and that the shadowing emphasises the space.

I like it. Odd place for a canopy though. Maybe it was supposed to be part of something else but they ran out of time/money? What kind of building is it?

That explains it. Malls seem to like to put random stuff in for the sake of putting it in, I think. There are two near me. One's a completely outdoors mall with a big glass elevator in the middle and one has a futurestic connector thingy (which is mostly windows and looks kinda like sea lab or the poster for Life Aquatic) to the parking lot. Sadly, no one can actually use it, because it's not really connected to anything...
But it looks cool...
Maybe that's what they were going for? I dunno. It's a cool pic, though!

Yikes. I'll admit I'm a lazy bastard; I only watch the deviations of about 5 people. Beyond that, I just use my mad browsing skills to come across new art.

"He watches 722 people"
me thinks that might be a bit to many, but just think, your one of those speical 700. Browsing is always more fun still though you find new people and new styles, but if i didnt watch all these people i would always be thinking ive missed something good.

I love the play of light and the curvature of the windows contrasting the lines of the bars and shadows. A beautiful shot.

I love the play of shadows! Shadows especially those in geometric shapes really catch my eye. Your angle is turns an otherwise simple photo into an stimulating piece. nice

I love the contrasting lines/shapes and the crisp black and whites and grays inbetween found in this.
Beautiful.

Sunridge Mall. This particular spot is now gone due to the construction.

That's pretty cool. Is it Sunridge? How did you find it if it's so obscurely placed?

It is indeed Sunridge. You know the Bay end of the mall? There is a patch of grass with a hill and the Bay's loading dock and it's behind some trees. It's useless! My guess is that they intended to have the path follow the building and then something changed.
