Either a fallen angel or an archangel, take your pick... I played Heroes of Might and Magic 5 recently, found some fanarts on Internet and I really wanted to draw an angel when I saw one of these pictures. It's my first attempt ever at drawing an angel-looking creature, I'm quite proud of it but I think it still can be improved (more contrast, better cloak movement, more precision on the lineart etc...). So, what do think of it?

Cool... nothing really stands out. I think it is a great attempt, I have tried to draw angel type things but they always turn out... sad and mangled.

Yeah, that's the first angel I ever tried to draw... It took me almost 8 hours of full work to get this result thought, I could have done it way better and faster but I wasn't on a urge... I still think it lacks contrast, especially on its clothes... and a background, too...
