Description ...

No poem to go along this time, but a more story behind the box.
This box is something I received from a very old lady of who I used to be a gardener for.
At some point she had to move into a home because she was getting to old and couldn't take care of herself anymore.
So during the move she had to sort out some things and with that, she made this box for me.
I haven't seen her for a long time now, and I kind of miss her.

The contents of it ? Small treasures .. tiny things, but they mean a lot to me, as they come from her.
- 2 Maria (mother of god) necklaces
- 1 Small necklace from Pope Johannes XXIII with St Jozef on the other side
- 2 coins 2 1/2 Gulden from 1930 and 1/2 Gulden from 1922 (yes, she was dutch from origin)
- 1 broche, a beautiful broche with dark red stones, portraying a flower. The middle stone, shaped as a heart.
- 1 ring, a small ring with the french lilly on it and the signs Nd-eD (Still looking for the origin of those signs)

Madamme Lefèvre, always remember I treasure these objects. Thank you, and I hope all goes well with you.

i love photos with a story behind them. and even more, i love treasure boxes with mysterious treasures in them.
and now i might get lost thinking and wondering and dreaming about the life of that old lady, and about those little things and their meanings, and their stories.

the box - orbital

shares his neighbors with a building
knows addresses of by heart
draws a picture of his future
keeps the paper close at hand
packs his tongue into a suitcase
suffers terror on the train
and he wants to start a movement
cause he's indestructible
destructible ... suffers terror on the train
he indestructible
and you know they'll never find us
and they'll leave us alone
and if we just keep on talking
then we'll still make it home
there's commotion and promotion
now they've done good every war
sell our pictures to a paper
now that everyone must know

trading satellites for substance
let spectators pay their way
we'll invade the trevi fountain
now that everyone must pay
mama and babies mother tragedy
babies mothers tragedy
babies mothers tragedy
terrifies the kill

the story of old persons is so sad, i'm happy to live in a country without that. In Vietnam, they die with their family. Think one day old people will keep their house is impossible in Vietnam.....

Do you have some news of her ?
Mayby sometimes, you can send her some letter by post, mayby she will so happy to receive thsi picture by post with a letter by your hand.........
