Superb.
I can really relate to this.
The toning is very warm and creates a dreamy atmosphere. The natrural lighting catches both the place and the model very wonderfully, creating some fantastic highlights on specific parts. I love how the stairs looks very old and rusty.
The way the lighting catches the model is beautiful, the mere highlights on his lower part of trousers, his arm and hair looks fantastic. I love how his face is quite dark from other part of his body. and how his arms, head seem to look like they're protecting his writing from people to see, from the nature to notice. It makes me think how deep the guy is into his writing, creating his own world, swimming about in his private thoughts.
The set up is gorgeous as it is.
My only concern would be the far right, I think it is too bright in my opinion.
Other than that, I've nothing to complain - it is very beautiful, with a wonderful concept.
- deep thoughts and melancholic atmosphere also exist on the warmer side

Thank you for this very nice comment. You really were able to take out everything from the photo and put your idea onto it.
Also why you liked this soo much. The right side .. I have to agree, but I'm not a cropping kind of person.
I always try to make my shot as it is, if something is faulty on it, then I throw it away.
Trying to make everything right, the first time

you've framed the photo very well, i love this kind of candid photos. like you're seeing the photographer as an observer. like someone has already mentioned, you can wonder what he thinks of. but that's the pictures strenght, not showing us what he thinks, leaving it up to us!
well done!
