Description As I sit here on these stairs
I write you this letter

Love,

So much has happened, the beginning of a journey
In search for answers

Alone

My journey has almost come to an end
Realising the errors and mistakes
Finally seeing our everlasting love

For eachother

I will be with you soon again ...

I saw this guy sitting on the stairs writing and he caught my eye.
He was sitting there, so calm, thinking, what to write...

I thought the exact same thing when i first saw it. Who knows what
he's writing about?! he's just there, on the steps writing, as if it
was so important to get this thought down he had to sit in the middle
of everything.. hehe sorry. my imagination tends to kick in on
'drabble' mode sometimes.
I love it

this makes me wanna cry.
the poem is so meaningful.
it causes me to think...
think about the people i miss; the people i love; the people i wanna be with.

"I will be with you soon again ..."
what a promise.
what a love.
what beauty...

your photo is amazing as well.
it totally brought out the emotions in me.

i like the way this guy is sitting thr, all focused in writing.
even the way his bag is placed beside him;
the fact tht he's sitting on the steps;
the way his head is slightly bent over in concentration...
all these little details make this photo so so beautiful.

i really love it.
thank you very much, for this awesome shot.
hope u thanked this guy when u took a photo of him!
hehe

the sepia tone worked out for this photo as well.
and the white border gave it a suitable finishing touch.
the composition is wonderful as well.

this photo is just great!!!

Superb.

I can really relate to this.

The toning is very warm and creates a dreamy atmosphere. The natrural lighting catches both the place and the model very wonderfully, creating some fantastic highlights on specific parts. I love how the stairs looks very old and rusty.

The way the lighting catches the model is beautiful, the mere highlights on his lower part of trousers, his arm and hair looks fantastic. I love how his face is quite dark from other part of his body. and how his arms, head seem to look like they're protecting his writing from people to see, from the nature to notice. It makes me think how deep the guy is into his writing, creating his own world, swimming about in his private thoughts.

The set up is gorgeous as it is.

My only concern would be the far right, I think it is too bright in my opinion.

Other than that, I've nothing to complain - it is very beautiful, with a wonderful concept.

- deep thoughts and melancholic atmosphere also exist on the warmer side

Thank you for this very nice comment. You really were able to take out everything from the photo and put your idea onto it.
Also why you liked this soo much. The right side .. I have to agree, but I'm not a cropping kind of person.
I always try to make my shot as it is, if something is faulty on it, then I throw it away.
Trying to make everything right, the first time

you've framed the photo very well, i love this kind of candid photos. like you're seeing the photographer as an observer. like someone has already mentioned, you can wonder what he thinks of. but that's the pictures strenght, not showing us what he thinks, leaving it up to us!

well done!

oh fuck you're right. that is good. well done, my friend. this touches me. the image itself just works in that you can tell the guys deviating from going home or going to school to sit and write whatever he is writing. that text under it however, that you wrote. that just makes the mood and really sets this off. made my stomache flutter
