God I love this house. It's like an open doorway for me to do some things I wanted to do for soo long.
The possiblity of creating emotion with the help of surrounding.

This is beautiful. The setting is so rich and full of interest. All that texture everywhere. You've captured a great melancholic atmosphere, which the tone really accentuates. And the lonely figure in the corner... yeah... powerful stuff.

I only found out bout the place 2 days before I took the shot
next time you come over I'll take you there
man, and by god we were lucky.
First time we went in it was dark already and we wanted to go into the basement.
So I said, hold on, we'll bring a flashlight next time and do that.
Damn lucky us, it seemed the basement was filled with water just up to the final steps of the staris.

excellent shooting my friend. The visual display this has is awesome, great lighting, textures coming from all directions, and then the emotion, presented by one the man, two the old worn down house. The tone you applied works great for this. My only crit, is maybe you could position yourself where you are sitting, it would reflect the abandon feeling some more. Nice shooting!

well shit. you know my thoughts on this, man. its fucking powerfull. the torn room.. the poor broken man sitting in the corner.
the room could represent his battered and nearly destroyed soul and heart.. unable to rebuild or be repainted. it just decays and broods. while he acts as the broken physical variant, suggesting to the viewer what the room is to portray.

The setting is highly envoled to create this mood and atmosphere, but what really clinches it in this shot of course the expression on the young man's face. Very awesome work my friend!

....this is so beautiful. And this photo, with those words holds so much emotion. This location is perfect, absolutely perfect for the concept and, with how old and broken the room is.. it really helps to set the mood. Just beautiful.... I don't know what else to say.

Good work !!! I liked how the wallpaper falls on the floor, hmmm I will like it more if the guy was looking at the wallpapers in the middle of the room .. or setting in the corner and facing the center of the rooms' floor

The corner position is done to make him feel more trapped.
Towards the center of the room would tend to set the emotion completely different.
Now it is more like he's looking into his own mind.
