did you guys notice how much i like airplanes/rockets, in this case rockets, cutting the sky?fuckyes. FML
i drew this while listeing to african music so yeah. first time coloring dark skin...IN SHADOW AREA FFF SO DARK FMLL
i want to draw more skin variasions from now on 8D ohgod cultures are love.
obviously though, everything in this picture is made up. not based off any land or culture.

I saw the shuttle launch once. STS-133, last launch of Discovery. Rendezvous with the ISS. One tiny, infinitesimal speck going to meet another infinitesimal both zipping around the Earth at 17,500 mph, once every 90 minutes, 5 miles every second. Surgical precision with 2,000 ton rockets. Marvelous, really. To actually see a launch in person is really, really awe-inspiring.
