Cool.

I must ask though, if it doesn't have hands why does it utilize arms? It would seem more "streamlined" design if the weapons were attached to the shoulders like you see in a lot of Mech art.

I'm not trying to criticize your art, the Wardroid looks awesome, I'm just curious. it's a good thing I'm not a cat. LOL

They could have just attached the weapons to the sides and removed the arms completely, but the arms add much more manueverability to turn the gun faster by just turning an arm then the whole body.

This mech also does have arm attachments, but are rarely used.

You know. Unless you need to reach the top shelf of a grocery store, but are too short and you need someone taller? this mech has your back.

Ah yes, that little extra bit of maneuverability can turn the tides of a battle.

How easy is it to switch the arm attachments?  If it's really easy I can see that they could be used as heavy load lifters around military bases and then switched back to a war droid at a moments notice.

Unbolt a couple very large screws, unplug a few wires and tubes, then insert the other arms attachment, screw everything in place, hook everything up, and you're good to go!

They were built to be (relativly) quick and easy to replace.

And yes! they CAN be used as loaders! Actually scribbled an image of some lucky ass maintenance guys who for by the stroke of god's grace managed to get one off the front lines for their use.

The maintenance guys probably aren't authorized to be using it.  The Captain who was originally in charge of the Wardroid probably believes it was lost in action.

At least the ammo crates are loaded into the transports faster.

Yes. A well oiled maintenance crew means faster repairs and faster vehicles and ammunition returning to the front.
