Some “fans” they were.
Fans of what?, Tai wondered. Fans of him or fans of his body? The latter seemed more likely- at the tender age of fourteen, these “fans” had forced him into more beds than he could possibly count. Sometimes it was with them, sometimes with a dear friend of his. Sometimes they made Matt and Sora sleep together and filled him with rage and jealousy and sadness. He’d been suicidal more times than he could count. He’d even been made a supermodel, a nerd and a GIRL of all things!
And here he was, years later, tossed out like trash. The bulk of his “fans’” work was done. They’d grown up and moved on to other things. This meant that Tai was free from their power. Free but forgotten.
Tai turned towards the others. They were all asleep. Like him, they’d been treated like toys- played with and thrown out when their owners got bored.
One was only ten- ten!- and had went through the same unspeakable horrors. Like Tai, he’d been through a grab-bag of torture and was tossed aside when his tormentors got bored. The boy was safe now, however, holding his yellow mouse-like creature (he called it “Pikachu”) tight and having- thankfully- sweet dreams.
One was older, around seventeen. He hadn’t slept with everyone he ever knew, but, a lot of the time, he’d been forced to stand alone, nearly naked, while others came and gawked at him. He, too, was now free of their influence, snoring loudly as he slept. Occasionally, he’d mumble about his father or something called “Zanarkand” that appeared to be a place important to him.
The last one was Tai’s age- fourteen- and had gone through a lot of crap. Not only had they paired him up with everyone he knew, they paired him up with everyone he didn’t know. Not only had they walked all over him, they had a grand old time destroying his entire world while they were at it by breaking all its rules. He had barely escaped that hellhole and was now able to sleep in peace- and alone.
Tai was their unofficial leader, the person who kept the group together and thought up the next course of action. Their days had mostly been trying to get food, but Tai was getting sick and tired of being a beggar. He couldn’t go home- the few “fans” remaining would be waiting for him, and it would start all over again.
They’d been dictating his life for so long...
If he could only get rid of them or at least get them to stop treating him and his friends like Ken dolls, life would be easier. He could go back home, play soccer again, reunite his old friends, have a fridge to raid. And, if his plan worked, the others could go back home, too.
Tai walked over to the youngest and looked down at him sadly. As a leader, he often felt unsure of himself. If he messed up, not only would this child be unable to go back to his life, but he’d be their doll forever. If he messed up, the boy would lose his future.
But Tai never let anyone know he was scared of messing up, or they’d lose faith in him. These guys needed a strong leader. He’d been one many times before. He could be one again.
He could beat those hypocritical “fans”.

Ta da! After about five hours, I came up with this crappy drawing. I like the font, though. Got it by screwing around in Photoshop with the brushes and writing stuff.

The idea here is Tai knows he's fictional and has actually been hurt by all the craptard "fan"work (fanart and fanfiction). Not ALL fanwork, but just the fanwork that's clearly using him as a sex object/manipulating him. He doesn't really believe the fans who do crap like that are "fans" (hence the "some fans you are") and wants to fight back (or at least make peaceful negotiations, but c'mon, it's Tai we're talking about- he prefers action).

Why does Tai have wings? I felt like drawing them! Are they real wings or symbolic? You decide!

By the way, can you guess who the other "angels" are? (It should be easy to guess from the hints I gave you.) When I decide not to be lazy, I'll get off my hinie and draw them too.

Don’t come to me whining that “Taichi nd Yamato luk soooo sex0ry 2getur” and “Ur a homopob/bitch” and “but meh ficcy iz CANON!!!1!11!!evelentyone!!!1!” or any bullshit like that in a comment. I worked my ass off on this and the last thing I need is a mob of whiny fanbrats telling me my work “sux”. If you’re gonna be negative, be negative about the work itself (i.e.- My anatomy is off or the story sucked or something like that). I’ll block you if you try to pull that shit with me.
