Yo! o 7 o
Your style's so pretty *A*
Oh, by the way, have you tried experimenting with the water tool and the New Layer+Clipping Group+Multiply Mode yet? ( I like the water tool, it's like an endless stream of watercolor where the brush never runs out of water and starts to get all rough =u= Iapologizeinadvanceifyoudidn'tunderstandawordofthat)
Also, you could hold Ctrl while your working in a Linework Layer so that you can adjust the points of the line and stuff. I almost never do it though, that's why most of my linework's messy like hell.
Which reminds me... I have too much work to do to actually be on right now =u=;

Thank you ;3;
I have tried the water tool but I can never seem to get used to it for some reason ;m; But I do use the New Layer + Clipping Group thing.. but what is Multiply Mode? (and no worries, I understood exactly what you said =w= )
Wait... that's cool *A* I didn't know that. Maybe I could try it sometime? I probably won't though =w=; I don't have the patience...
Then wry were you on girl?! You need to focusing on whateva you doin. Dun make me come over there to make sure you doing what you need to do

I'm done. BUTIAMNOTSLEEPEH
Multiply Mode makes anything you put on it darker that the previous layer(s), if it's in a clipping group then anything you put on it will be darker than the layer it's clipped to along with the other layers in the clipping group that's below it.
Here, experiment:
Try placing something brown on one layer then make a new layer, clip it and change the mode (the setting for it is in the panel with the layers, just above it) to Multiply. Put any color there (except white, it has no effect) and you'll see what I mean.
Same goes for 'Screen', it makes anything you put on it lighter.
You can make the screen feel more comfortable for 'ya by adjusting where the panels go (e.g. the panel with the layers on the right and the panel with the color wheel on the left) in the Windows Menu in the Menu bar at the top. (The 2 bottom options in the drop-down sub-menu says it all 8D)
In the lineart layer, you could also click-and-drag while holding Ctrl to select the points and move them together.
(Do you know the 'transform' option by the way? If you don't, then press Ctrl+T when you have the points selected and just play around with it)
Do you want me to show you some keyboard commands that could help a lot? o 3o

Oh~ I get it. That's pretty cool, I never knew about that stuff OvO Well, except for 'transform'. That I knew about =w=
And yes, I would love to know some more helpful keyboard commands~

Oh I forgot, right-click to deselect the points in the linework layer.
Normal Layer:
Ctrl+Shift: shows you what belongs to which layer
Ctrl+Alt: adjusts the size of the brush manually (it's quicker than just clicking the pre-set sizes on the side)
Ctrl+Space: Zooms in. Click and drag to zoom a certain portion
Shift+Space: Hand tool. Helps you move around while zoomed in.
Home: returns it to the orginal view (helpful when you accidentally changed the angle)
D : Deletes the whole layer you've selected
Ctrl+Z: YOU KNOW WHAT THIS DOES
Ctrl+Y: " " " " "
In the Linework Layer, Ctrl+Shift doesn't work.
that's pretty much all I can remember.....
Oh, and it's useful to group layers in folders. (e.g. when there's two characters in the canvas, each can have their separate folder so that it won't be too much a hassle when you move them around and adjust their position and stuff)

O_O Oh gawd.. so much information.. but all really helpful =w= I will probably try some of those out next time I draw on the comp but that will definitely be a while because I've recently got into the watercoloring mood.. and the whole traveling thing will probably just leave me with my pencils and sketchbooks. So sad ;w;
