Description
The triple episode (The Lich/Finn the Human/Jake the Dog) inspired a whole ton of sketches from me. Here's the second finished piece. I'm latching onto drawing parallels between Simon and alternate universe Finn.
I had a lot of trouble with the colours and textures in this one. I think it looks alright, but I actually prefer yesterday's drawing. ;m;

I loved how you showed how the two in their different situations. Finn chooses to keep the crown on and only revert back when seeing his dog and The Ice King who accepted that the crown was evil and kept it with him so no one else would have to go evil by it and it called to him too.
In retrospect: Beautiful.

I think it looks pretty good pose wise, I'm not sure about those mountains back there though... being the same color as their snowy peaks and all. It's going in my favs either way though.

I' m guessing that the effect that crown offers caused more damage in Finn due to the fact... he's still a teenager.
Augh, witnessing these two suffering for this mistake hurts ultimately!

I love this. I think one of the things I love about the Ice King story is how is the crown that is evil. That the same maddness happened to Finn makes me pity the Ice King all the more. The comparison you drew with them reflects this perfectly. Stupid crown, just leave my fav characters alone! >_<

I love how you made it look like other Finn struggling more with it then Simon. I think you did AMAZING WITH IT!!!! I just love how the show petty much shows how Simon had a slower decent into madness then alternate Finn. YOu reflected that beautiful!

No he wasn't, he didn't believe Marcelline because she was a stranger telling him one thing while his perants had told him another. And he only put on the crown to save his family, his home, and everything he valued in life from being burned to ashes.

one thing I don't understand is if Simon froze the bomb, then how his he still alive and living in the ice castle wearing is crown.

in the alternate univers simon tried to use the crown for good and stop the bomb that caused the mutations that made the land of ooo and the Litch, in the rgular world he was alredy to far gone to be able to do that much with his powers without going full nuttso, so all he did was protect himself and marcaline

So in the other world, the mutations were already made and that's how the land of ooo, they could've gave it a better name... anyways so how did Finn survive. We saw how the city turned into the snow mountains where the ice king lives. I want to see an episode about the lich., his past and what he used to look like. Oh that reminds me do you want me to tell you about the next new episode of AT! Five More Short Gravels.
