alternative title:a fairytale about a hungry heart
it's been quite a while since i uploaded anything here, but i really wanted to put this pic online. i will be on vocation for about the next 2 weeks (starting friday)...
picture done as usual with watercolour (i was really inspired by klimt one of my favorite artists). i hope you like it. please leave some comments.

On Loki’s redemption:
I’m not sure if Loki will ever regret the things and the evil that he has done. Because everything he did in the past, he did with a purpose. And most villains are heroes in their own eyes.
But maybe, just maybe, he is able to understand that the things that he did were wrong. Most of his actions are due to the lies he had to deal with, his disappointment and his loneliness throughout his life.
What I want to show with my picture is that Loki can choose and will probably have to choose as soon as he gets to Asgard. His heart must decide: go towards the light, and accepting Thor’s (because I’m absolutely sure that he will forgive Loki even after all he has done, even if it could take some time and even if Loki will probably always feeling of not belonging anywhere. I don’t think that a hug will change everything but it would be a good start.), and the possible help of others or dissolving further into darkness, into his hatred and maybe also madness. It’s completely his choice and I can’t wait to get to see what he will do.
I really wish for Loki that he will have some kind of redemption.

no, thank you. and thank you for the awesome project. i really hope he will get so see everything and will be pleased with it. i didn't think that a fictional character such as loki could change my life (i've gotten completly obsessed with tom hiddleston and the avengers and tumblr), also because i can relate to him a lot (especially about the family problems and everything -.- ) and tom plays him so well!

Aaaah, it's the same for me! I always had obsessions and fandoms but Loki really moved it to another level. He always was my favourite god from Norse Mythology (another obssession...) when I was a child and then, when I saw the movie...it was like my dreams suddenly being real. And I can identify with him too, I guess that's why he means so much to me. I'm the youngest sibling too and always was the "different" one, nor do I get along well with my Dad.
And Tom. I can't even begin to explain how he changed everything for me, my whole life.

and i loved northern mythology as well but i only got to see thor long after the movie was in cinemas so my loki/tom obsession started a little later
for me with the family issues it's just slightly different but i have poblems with both of my parents (i live with my grandma. already like three months after my birth) and i have four younger "half"-siblings because my mother married again and my father as well and i'm the child that is kind of... on the outside? i don't know how to say it better but i often feel a little like loki
tom is kind of my idol in everything. a person you can look up to. just perfect hehe
