Another restyle, this time we go with another ond of my fave MOTU characters!Some of my ideas for the rebooted character:
1) He's actually a cyborg, that one is his body, not just an armor.
2)He was turned into a cyborg (after being victim of a big explosion) by Skeletor with the plan of turning him into an enslaved deadly weapon, but he was able to rebel to Skeletor and come back to the castle of Greyskull.
3)He had a crush on Sorceress, but he never found enough courage to confess his feelings to her.
4) He's Adam's and Teela's master (and Teela's father), also his best friend with Randor, expecially when they were younger
5) He was the guardian of the Sword of power after Sorceress died, he took the responsability because it was Sorceress last wish.
6) Sometimes he's scared by himself because of the deadly weapons installed in his body.

Another great re-imagining, with a very interesting backstory.
I also wonder if he could have an emotional moment when seeing Light Heart, whose human projection could be based on a past Sorceress. While Light Heart's design would be based on a far older Sorceress, it could still remind Man-At-Arms/Duncan of hos past love.

I actually imagined something like that, but the main difference is that Angella is the one who reminds him about Sorceress because of her face(and her usual expressions) and ofc the two big wings.

Yeah, I think your idea has more sense, especially that Angella has a more similar personality to the Sorceress, and here both Angella and Man-At-Arms lost their loved ones.

Because that's part of Man-At-Arms backstory, he blame himself for not being there that day and save her, he lost the person he loved. But there will be a new Sorceress later

Ill do you one better I had skeletor kill randor hordak took adora one of skeletors minions got adam and lost him, he is raised by cringers mother and their like brothers also when she wants adam to do something she takes out a violin, a wire headband and a box of soapflakes to guilt them into things. he he also almost cost man at arms a thumb and orko showed up and she tried to eat him and adam uses her own tools against her saving his life.
