So this is the painting that sort of took over my week. It's the cover illustration for the special All Hallow's Read recorded version of my short story "How Riding Got Her Red Hood"—a nice, spooky little re-imagining of the Red Riding Hood tale. You can find it in the latest issue of Apsis Fiction , and the audio version will be announced on my twitter , tumblr and website (and here, of course).
