Description
The Prophets>A clan of magic users now thought extinct. An obscure branch of the Children of Infinity, they rebelled against the main House and instigated the Wizard's War. Their leader, Manigula, vanished without a trace after the final battle and the Prophets were disbanded when the Mages Council was dissolved. Recently however there as been a resurgence of interest in the Prophets, prompted by the action of a group of vigilante revolutionists of the same name. These are distinguished by their characteristic masks and white robes, and they are the champions of cyborgs and persecuted mages. The Tijanis Law Enforcement considers them a small, if nagging threat. There is no information on their whereabouts, their leader, or their motives.

"Fanart" as it were for my webcomic: The Iron Wizard. I can't really say much about these guys, except that you will be seeing quite a bit of them in volume two, set to be released in late April.

Agent-Elrond: Okay guys, I'm going to paint you now.
Prophet 1: But, it's the middle of the day! We could be seen!
Agent-Elrond: You won't be seen, because I'm lazy and I can't be bothered to paint anyone else.
Prophet 2: But... But!
Agent-Elrond: No buts! I am going to paint you now, because I don't want the hassle of painting night scenes. M'kay?
Prophet 1 (grumbling): Oh fine.

As a matter of fact, I have never even read Bleach, so that would be a complete coincidence. I wanted something that was very iconic and spooky — hence the smiling mask with closed eyes. The robes were an afterthought, as each Prophet has their own costume, the only style they share are a few design motifs (the inverted wave is very popular) and a monochromatic pallet.
As to those masks, I did have some inspiration from an outside source. It's a movie currently out in theatres that features a very different character in a smiling white mask.

Creepy @_@ they look like the 'once might an noble' uh... whoever that died a really long time a go but really didn't but they're in hidding and then they manipulate society to suit their uh.... evil or whatever plans and just enjoy creeping the hell outta ppl on halloween. But that's just a guess....
