I used it for all of the color differences, letting me paint it like a one-value picture first, whitch really helped to make sure it looked 3D and seperated before cheating by having the colors be different.

And these videos told me to. I suggest watching them, if you get back from cell shading, especially for lineless. They help.

Ah, that sort of thing. I do something similar with cel shading, only using multiply, which lets me shade in plain grey so I don't have to keep changing shading colours. Nice and easy for doing precise cel shading.

Mnn. I find cell shading annoying. (To do, that is, though it isn't my favorite style in general either) How do you to it? Like, I usually use multiply and make a outline of the shadow, and fill it in, but that's annoying because I have to get along all the edges of the character attached to the shadow because otherwise any other selected places attached to that empty space around the character get paint bucketed to.Β
