I made the lines darker and thicker so they would be easier to see.

Wheeler here is an American alligator.

As for why Wheeler is so enormous, he's wearing a soft, padded fat suit and he isn't fat. He's wearing it because I wanted to make reference to the fat/obese American stereotype for humour. However, I didn't actually want him to be fat since Gaia wouldn't select a person as unfit and unhealthy as an obese person and the lifestyle associated with obesity (over-consumption, sedentariness, consumption of junk food) is especially harmful to the environment and goes against of what the Captain Planet and the Planeteers stand for which is environmental responsibility. So instead he's wearing a fat suit because I believe he wouldn't be promoting obesity if he's just a non-fat person wearing a fat suit that isn't even meant to look realistic. To become massive by wearing a soft, padded fat suit doesn't require the person to gorge on junk food and be extremely lazy. Additionally, Wheeler is a silly, cocky American and I think referencing the fat/obese American stereotype would be appropriate for him.

Wheeler is an alligator since alligators are dangerous, fierce, rough, intimidating, powerful and tough like how Wheeler is rough, fierce, fiery, tough and is ready for a fight. Alligators are iconic American animals native to the US. They're also particular important.
