I love Jays of all sorts, but definitely one of my most favorite of these little corvids is the North American Blue Jay. Jays are known as mischievous little creatures, as is the fox, and I thought a combination of the two would make the perfect Jester. I really like the way the colors came out in this. They are playful, and compliment the Jay/Fox well.10 3/4" X 15 1/2" Watercolor and Colored Pencil on Bristol Paper.

This is beyond words. This is so beautiful, I love the colors and markings. A blue jay magically glued its colors, markings and wings onto a wolf. xD

I think it may have inspired me to change my fursona a bit, but I would have to find another way to incorporate feathers into my anatomical make up as I think wings on a canid would be a bit clunky. D:
