Amity was trembling in guilt within Ember's thorny vines.

Ember: At first, when I realized you became a star student at Hexside, I figured I'd try to achieve more fame than you. And when that didn’t work, I tried to take a more direct approach, to steal your diary and expose your dark secrets.

Ember began to grin viciously, on the verge of laughing.

Ember: And then you unexpectedly became friends with a human! Who would have guessed?! Ember placed her claw on her head, her devilish smile seen behind it.

Ember: I was suddenly so invested in your happiness... Can you believe that at the Titan's Knee, I was actually afraid you were going to die?! After that fiasco, I needed to be sure. That's why I sent a Hound to cut your little fun at Grom Night short. Did it make you feel like a star student again? It must've been a heavy burden knowing you’d be rejected after everything you’ve done for so long.

Ember's smile faded into anger as she scowled at the youngest Blight.

Ember: But then, you were soothed by this little human, weren't you? Is that why you finally decided to try and bond with Willow again?! Just keep looking towards the future, and you can be a better witch?! What?! NOTHING TO SAY?! WELL, ALLOW ME!
