This is a sneak preview of the scene that will go down in Shadows Upon Blood. It has yet to happen, but it will be one of my favorite scenes with Heather. During this time at the Emperor's Castle, she has learned a vital lesson that made her rethink her stance on her father. All this time, she defended the person who treated Hunter so horribly... But he's not going to hurt her nephew again. And she'll make sure of that... permanently.
