This was partly a test for shading techniques, and it's also going to be my Facebook profile picture avatar thing because I hate photos of myself and I created a new one recently. xDDone in Photoshop, of course!

Ahaha, don't be sorry for the question! A pokesona is basically a persona of a person in the form of a pokemon. So Flare is, I guess, me in pokemon form. XD She's kind of a representative of me in the pokemon world, if that makes sense. It's kind of like people's fursonas, for instance, a wolf that holds all the traits of the artist and who is an expression of them in animal form. It's handy for things like drawing pictures where you want to draw yourself, but instead of having to draw a human, you can draw your pokesona, or fursona, or sonicsona (if you're into Sonic), etc. ^^
