Name: Khalfani

Species/mythical creature: Lesser Cockatrice

Age: He's a rather young cockerel who's only just finished growing. He's about 22 human years, but it only translates into 9 months or so for his own species.

Magic/Weapon:
-Attacks primarily with longe, sharp spurs on his legs.
-During and after the war, Khalfani took to eating corpses and carrion, so his beak is full of infectious bacteria.
-Paralyzing eyes. The longer eye contact is held, the more paralysis sets in. Victim will begin to feel somewhat stiff after 10 seconds of eye contact, and if eye contact is held too long, temporary paralysis may set into one or two limbs. Paralysis rarely lasts for more than a minute.

Illness/injury: During the war, shrapnel was lodged in his head, and cause mild to severe migraines on occassion.

Personality:
Khalfani is outwardly agressive and confrontational, and found at a young age he had an aptitude for fighting. He does, however, have the capacity to care about others, but doesn't feel welcome because he has communication issues. Khalfani's beak can't formulate words well, and he's embarassed about his ability to understand, but not be understood. He conceals his issues by keeping quiet and tries to make up for it by being tough.

Very easily provoked and will sooner solve his problems with fighting rather than talking it out. When he fights, he's fighting for his life, and isn't averse to killing if he can. If you get close to him, he's very loyal and protective, revealing some of his old nature and natural disposition.

-Brute strength

Weaknesses:
-Can only attack effectively head on
-Covered in relatively thin skin, and no scales. Featherless areas under wings and stomach are vulnerable.
-Poor magic resistance
-MUSTELIDS

I love him aaa

He's based off a Jersey Giant and they're usually such sweet chickens. I feel kind of bad for making him seem so mean. :')

Also, the stuff on his tail is basically a big comb/wattle like on his face.
