I really like the way the rain doesn't suck this time. (s' not perfect, but ya know...)

And if you notice, her super form sort of reminds you of a wedding dress (or it should anyways)
There's a reason for that. See, the way I see the super forms in the sonic franchise as, is unconscious forms of wishes of confidence or inner power, things that they wish for or certain things that they have that they feel confident in, or certain desires that give them strength to push forward.
Amy, is to gain respect from Sonic in SA and proven more later; to marry him. This is shown in her gold fur and her outfit changed.

Why I think that is shown the other characters:
Sonic, Shadow, and Silver: Gold
The phrase "be golden" or "go gold", to be the best you can be, to overcome all odds, obstacles, trials, to never lose or give in. It has been shown that these three would have that as a desire, wish, and possibly a trait that they feel confident in (even though they have lost before...)
Knuckles: Pink?
If we look back at Sonic Adventure's flashback scenes, the scenes of the past that involve Tikal's people and their eventual downfall with chaos, we can see that a good number of the tribesmen have a pinkish color about them, so when we see pink super knuckles, we see his pride, his confidence in his roots, his ancestors. Which also can be seen in the games.
Tails: gold & birds
Not only does what mentioned above with sonic apply here, but the birds stem off of Tails wanting to be like Sonic, being cool, confident and saving the day, but he wants to do it with his own power, hence flying. A natural ability he has and one he can put to good use.
Blaze: Fire
Even though Blaze has mentioned her flames as a "curse", she does have pride in it too. She uses her flames multiple times to help with any situations she runs into and dislikes it when her ability is belittled. Later on she has come to openly see her abilities as a gift and takes confidence in them more than ever.
(I don't remember any other super forms...)

But, that's just my opinion and view.
