Okay so it was originally gonna be a Basset Hound, but the sketch came out absolutely terrible so I lost interest somewhat. Plus I saw a really cute beagle at college today which helped a lot inspiration wise ^^ Plus it's always much better to have a living reference
So this is B for Beagle.
Originally bred in Greece, beagles spread throughout Europe and became especially popular in England where the first true Beagles were bred. Originally bred for hunting rabbits and small game, the beagle has an even temperment, but can be feisty and restless due to its high energy levels. There are two modern standards: working breed and show breed.

can u do another B breed for meh?! I badly want to see a basset hound!! I have uploaded photos of bella my dog but not many...
other than that. it is a beautiful piece, 1 Flaw, the Reflection should ripple a bit. but great texture on the grass and fur of the dog.

I'm really sorry but Bassest hound was my initial breed of choice over Beagle. Problem was I couldn't find a single decent ref pic and when I finally got a sketch it came out horrible - and I can't face trying to fix it again

For the water I drew the rocks first in grey and then painted blue over it to make them seem underwater. Then I used light and dark streaks of blue for the water's surface ^^

i love this pic i think its really cute!But i think ur akita was better ): (no offence) The reson why is because of the face. On this one the face looks to long. The muzzle seems to be to long. thats the only diffrence! But oh well i couldn't have done better!

I know you're probably to busy, but if you want inspiration for another really cute dog breed to draw, here's the kind of dog I have, (Absolutely adorable!)
It's a Caviler Kind Charles Spaniel
-Could be "Caviler" for "C" XD
The kind I have is a tri-color, mostly black and white with brown eyebrows and trim ^^
*WARNING* - the following are the cutest kind of dog you'll ever see
