Description
The mystery of this call has been revealed!Among Pete's other business endeavors he also supplies modified and upgraded tech to ships. In fact he is SO neurotic about it he generally makes extras. In the case of the Lorely he has enough modified/upgraded parts stored away that he could probably build two complete duplicates of the ship, completely upgraded and modified to his specification.
Pete does this for any ship that he regularly encounters, meaning that somewhere out there he has a giant floating warehouse filled with all of his OCD crap, and it doesn't end at ships, he has collected and rebuilt parts for almost everything one can imagine- all the way down to the most superfluous of things.
I bet he even has the Brave Little Toaster locked away in there somewhere.
We should probably call A&E and have him put on that show 'Hoarding: Buried Alive'.
No one has ever seen said warehouse, only Pete and Seamus know its location.

I'm really.. REALLY fast when I draw. Its pretty much why most things I have dont get finished.. I dont like spending time on anything. I am the ADD queen of art or something. If I spent time on stuff it might look really good.. I just can't bring myself to do it. D: LOL

Gotta love his nonchalant pose in the final panel, he works on things when he feels to it but not before his own projects are done. Which makes me think that Pete must have worked on the Flotilla's IT department

ROFL he wasnt on the flotilla too long, he was an orphan kid.. very uncomfortable around others and always angry/sad about why his parents left him alone.

Ahh, I'm surprised that PHM doesn't seem interested in the woman on the table. I think iralovesart might be right in saying that she might have seen Pete do this before. Somebody mentioned this before in one of the previous pages that they liked how you wrote text in a different colour depending on whose talking, I have to say that I agree, it does make it easier to tell and gives a bit of life to the comic.
Pete is offically my favourite OC character of all time, he's scary, smart and so messed up!

I think in PHM's case- she has seen a lot, been through a lot, and I knows better than to pry when an evil genius is the one supplying outrageously awesome tech for next to nothing. xD

That and you see a lot of messed up shit when you are in the military- as described her she doesnt seem the one to get very upset over stuff like this- or the type to be surprised that the universe is a very screwed up place.

It does move slow.. I am more into the cinematic aspects of comics, I like looking at the little things people are doing with their hands and the subtle changes in body position to describe a scene- so I guess naturally that comes through in my work. Just be glad I guess that its slow.. but I update more than once a week. xD I'll try not to bore people. >.<
