Trying to keep the chart up with current events. The other day, Oakland declared umbrellas to be "structures" and ticketed the multi-faith "structure" that was there. The line between the real and the absurd is getting kind of tough to find these days.Related content

There's a price these clowns pay for shenanigins like those in Oakland: when this stuff gets to the federal courts -- hello, 9th circuit! -- they are, in legal parlance, going to get their shit handed to them. . .we still live in a country where the federal courts are typically not loathe, especially in the Ninth Circuit, to drop the hammer on over-reaching government thugs. They will look silly when the umbrella thing gets to court, and already a lot of just plain folks are scratching their heads and asking, "why would they do something stupid like that?" And the more people ask questions like that, the more people actively come over to our side.
