It completely detests me when people equate patriotism with fervor for ones country. I'm a Libertarian and a patriot, but my allegiance isn't to some piece of ground or a government... it's to my inherent rights. Blind dedication to one's government is ignorance and teeters on being Facism. The minute that I feel that my government has so grossly encroached upon the fundamental rights that all men deserve, it will cease to be my government. To paraphrase the Constitution, it is your right and duty to revolt against the government once they cease to protect the rights of their citizens.

funny, i learned that infact our government created terrorism. the CIA funded their operations and helped them build their underground terrorist network to fight the soviets in afganistan. it was hard to believe, but i can not look away from these facts.
