yeah. it's sad that it was blurred but at that time of day you can't do much about it. *sigh* and standardbreds basically ARE tb's so they SHOULD look similar. lol. thank you!

really? i guess it depends on the individual horses. i think almost all of ours could pass for tb's.

Yeah, there are some obvious differences, but it does depend on the individuals too. TBs tend to be shorter in the body with refined heads and SB's longer with heavier heads. Yours could easily pass for TB's. I thought they were TBs til I saw one of your comments saying one of the horses (Gem I think) was a SB.

haha. the head thing is really a big myth. there is a standardbred head that's rather plain, but out of our string only jag has it. the longer the breed is around the nicer their heads get. look at laag shot! and their back ARE longer because of the slope of their shoulders... yay pulling power! haha. Specks is built just like a TB tho...

lol Niatross had a pretty heavy head though, but he was ages ago. Yeah Laag Shot's got a very pretty head, so do Gem, Ozzy, and Midnight.

there's a big hill behind the building and it leads to the roof. i'd walk him up there, but i don't ride up that way if i can help it. a few years ago i saw a horse dump her driver and go tearing up the hill. she ended up jumping off the roof and only the fact that the ground was wet and soft saved her from shattering her legs.
